September So Far

The weather is changing and the leaves are just starting to turn color. I have read that mid-October will be brilliant and I cannot wait to take pictures of the foliage! We plan to go up to Boston around that time to see my friend, Jenny. In the meantime, we are still enjoying the apple harvest and we even cut our own flowers for this bouquet at Terhune Orchards. It's pretty cool that they offer scissors and charge 25 cents per flower.

Natalie started preschool this past week. She goes 3 afternoons a week from 12:45-3:15; M, T, and TH. She seems really happy at school.

Chloe and I have our time together, but I am sort of struggling with nap schedules and how to work preschool into our lives. I hope in a month's time we will have a better routine and everyone will be rested!

As a family, we have been to Philadelphia and seen the historical sights. Philadelphia is very close to us and walking around Independence Park is a definite possibility for any visitor interested! We also have the Delaware River and Delaware Canal nearby. It is a beautiful setting for walks. And, we've been riding out some of the latest hurricanes/tropical storms. Luckily, that means our garden is lush and green!

I am doing really well and enjoying all the friends I have met here.
I organized a Mom's Night Out and we went to Triumph Brewery in Princeton. It was a lot of fun and the next night out is already being planned. We also see each other at playdates, the park and lunch. It feels good to have people around whom I trust. Especially, because Fred already has some business trips at the end of the month and early October in Texas.

Finally, I am so thrilled that Hannah and Andrea had their beautiful baby girls. I wish both families the best and I cannot wait to see the beauties in person!
